Old growth Redwoods, deciduous trees, clearings with grasses and wildflowers, and a mountain stream attract birds in great numbers. California Quail can be seen and heard frequently, as well as Swainson’s Thrush, Stellar Jays, Red-breasted Sapsucker, hummingbirds, warblers, Ravens, and more.
