Testimonials:

"I just checked in and found you had
another CD, so of course I bought It... I can hardly wait since of all
the nature CD's I have (probably around 100 or so) I think yours have
the best sound quality."
James, a blind listener from Florida.
"Incredibly real - definitely the
real thing with no stupid music!"
David, from Las Vegas
"I want to tell you how much I need and love the Woodland Birds in
Chorus and especially the Frogs in Chorus (my absolute favorite)!, it
truly relaxes me and drives my stress totally away!
Thank you SO MUCH for making them available."
Lindy, from New York
"Awesome sound quality, love it, thank you!"
Beth, from
Pennsylvania
"You do nice work, I have been very
happy with the other CD's I ordered from your site. Your recordings
are far superior to anything I purchased previously."
Tim, from New York
"Great CDs, close your eyes, you are in the forest and stress is
gone."
Brandon, from Indiana
"Not sure how he does
it. Fantastic sound quality CDs, just like being out there!"
Mark, from Pennsylvania
"I recently purchased a few of
your CD's and I think they are wonderful!!! I especially like Frogs
in Chorus. I love frogs, and this is one of the best frog CD's I've heard -
good variety of species - great job!!! I will be watching for more of
your work, and will share your website with others - thanks for these
wonderful recordings!!!"
Gail, from Oklahoma
"Your customer service is terrific! You respond immediately and
courteously to your customers, and meet their needs with absolutely NO
hassles! It is very unusual and very pleasant. As pleasant as the CD
itself."
Jessica, from Michigan
"I just received the Sonoran Desert CD. It was everything I had
hoped it would be. I have spent the last two Springs hiking in Saguaro
NP and find that I miss the sounds as much as the scenery. This CD
fills that void beautifully. The sound clarity, fidelity and quality
are captured perfectly and realistically-good work!"
Bob, from
Canada
"I loved it so much that I just have to keep playing it over and over
again."
Suzanne, from Ohio
"I slapped it into the CD player immediately—and what an inspiration!
I loved it! I played it over and over again. What a spring
prescription for a late fall day!"
Anne, from Massachusetts
"I ordered Creeks & Waterfalls for my husband who cannot sleep without
background sounds because of tinnitus (ringing in the ears). I was
getting tired of his somewhat artificial sounding "noise machine." I
was looking for an alternative. He has played Creeks & Waterfalls on
auto-loop for several nights now and has no trouble falling to sleep
with it. Plus, I find it much more natural sounding, and more pleasant
than the previous sound machine he used. Thank you for your great
product."
Jessica, from Michigan
"I especially enjoyed the Summer Insects Vol. I CD. What a
tremendous CD! I liked the dense, polyphonic insect choruses on each
track and the way the tracks blend into each other. I played the CD
all day Saturday. I have been looking for a CD like this for some time
now, and all I had been able to find were some nature CD compilations
with a stray track of crickets or a track of cicadas--but nothing like
this. I'd like to think that I'm not given to hyperbole, but your CD
is very, very well-done."
Bob, from New York

Request sounds
Don't see something you were hoping to find? We welcome your
suggestions. In the future, we will seek recordings to match popular
requests.
 |
Advantage MP3 files:
We are making nature sounds MP3 files and albums available
due to popular demand. MP3 files have the advantage of being immediately
available as a download to anywhere in the world. This saves shipping
costs, offers a discount from buying CD packages, and the sound quality is
maintained with the 192kbps. Included with the albums is an Adobe Acrobat file of the front
and inside CD cover that you may print, fold, and make your own CD case
insert. The back CD covers are not available as a download for anti-copy
protection. See the terms of use agreement at the bottom of this page.
|
Using the efw/zip file:
The albums are in what is called a EFW or
Zip file
format, which is computer jargon for packaging multiple files into a
downloadable folder. To open the efw/zip file, you will need a program to
unpack the file. There are many programs that can open zip files, and
many are free. Some titles are WinZip,
Stuffit, and
7-Zip. Chances are an unzip program is
already on your computer. Unzip programs are included with Windows Vista.
Unzip the files into a folder of your choice. |
Why aren't tracks <$1 each?
The individual tracks are priced on a
typical industry price per minute rate. Our tracks are much longer than
the average 2-4 minute music track, therefore, the prices of individual
tracks are higher. |
Download Notes
If you have dial up service, expect
40-80 minutes to download an album. Cable service should be able to
download an album in about 5 minutes. Times will vary depending on
server load. After your payment clears, you
will be taken to the download link when you select return to store.
Some people have been having trouble going directly to the download
link after payment.
You will also receive an email with a link to download the files.
Please check your "spam" folder within your email program or through
your Internet provider's web mail. You
must use the user name and password given to you to access the files.
You will have 4 days to download the files.
Special notice if
you use dial-up Internet service:
You may run into Microsoft
Explorer time out errors if the download takes too long, when downloading an album with dial-up service. If you have this problem,
try canceling the download, then re-downloading the file at 10 minute
intervals. The download is held in cache, when the download is
re-started, it will start downloading again where it left off. Do not
clear your Internet Temporary files during the process or you will
start from the beginning. I heard this no longer works with some newer
Internet browsers.
Our
host servers use fast, fiber optic links to direct Internet hubs. Your
download speed will vary depending on the capacity of your Internet
Service Provider and the load on the server. |
