Each year migrating birds, from the tropics, descend upon the North American woodlands enlivening them with their vibrant melodies. The Woodland Birds in Chorus series captures the peak Spring choruses of these Neotropical and resident birds. These exquisite stereo recordings are untainted by background music.

Vol 2

This volume contains some of the mid to later migrants and resident birds from pristine woodlands in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Listen to Warblers, Vireos, Turkey, Cuckoo, Whip-poor-wills, and many more.

Number of Tracks: 4   Total Run Time: 72:04 Min.

Track List:

County Morning: 15:43min.
As the sun rises near a small creek, in the Ohio countryside, birds burst into activity. Mourning Doves echo in the distance as Catbirds and Rufous-Sided Towhees chatter and fly from bush to bush. Cardinals, Wood Thrush, Prothonotary Warbler, House Wren, and more join in the chorus.

River Sanctuary: 15:34min.
Imagine wading, in this Pennsylvanian river, during trout season. The birds sing a rich chorus on this warm, sunny morning. Turkey, Yellow-Shafted Flickers, Wood Thrush, Scarlet Tanager, Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Baltimore Oriole, Pewee, Nuthatch, along with Yellow-throated, Hooded, and Canada Warblers are heard.

Forest Dawn: 23:44min.
As the darkness fades, the Whip-poor-wills make their last calls of the night. The warm sun rises, bringing breezes to this forest hilltop. Yellow-billed Cuckoos, Towhees, Wood Thrush, Catbirds, Pewees, Cardinal, Northern Mockingbird, American Redstarts, plus Hooded and Yellow-Throated Warblers, and more greet the morning light.

Whip-poor-wills: 17:03min.
On a warm, quiet Spring night, the calls of Whip-poor-wills are heard throughout the forest. A pair of Barred Owls vocalize in a distant valley.
